Summer IT Service Desk Assistant - CTS (Work-Study Required)

IT Service Desk - Duties include: 

  • Assisting users to resolve issues with technology via phone, email, or in person.
  • Candidates should have a passion for helping others; good customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively.
  • Eagerness to learn is essential.
  • Training provided on everything you need to know in order to perform the job successfully.
  • 5 essential functions - address walk-ins (25%), answer the phones (25%), monitor our email ticketing system (25%), and assist full-time with various administrative duties (10%), and on-going training and monitoring of our knowledge base (10%).2 non-essential functions - run errands around campus - mainly between Rockwell and Union (2.5%) and assist other teams within CTS (2.5%).
